Metamora Martial Arts was first established in 2002. I created a website in 2006 when I felt the program was getting bigger than just having a subsite on the MTHS website. It is mainly driven by Invision Power Services through their IP.Board, IP.Gallery, and IP.Content applications.
In addition, MMA also can be found on YouTube, Twitter and Delicious.
This website is the online portfolio for Heidi Landes, a freelance graphic designer. It was recently given an overhaul.
For Interactive Media 365: Design for the World Wide Web (fall 2009), the task was to design a page using strictly CSS for the Zen Garden project. We could not edit the source HTML that we downloaded from the Zen Garden page, but we could use CSS to do whatever we needed to get done. The link on the left takes you to Digg, which is what inspired the design on the right.
Developed for IM 365, the goal for this project is to be a product launch/hero page. After much thought, I remembered a hilarious Kevin James comedy bit where he talked about his troubles with jet skis, comparing his gray rental to the baddest fictitious personal watercraft out there, the WaveHumper 9000.
The purpose of this IM 365 assignment was to focus on tyopgraphy for a press release page. I used @font-face for the logo text. We were asked to use at least one blockquote and one address tag, as well. The idea is the first instance of a project I was working on for my entrepreneurship class.
This IM 365 project was comparing different products using tables correctly. The idea mainly came from wanting to use a coffee-colored scheme after attempting a MySpace layout this summer for somebody.
This blog design was supposed to look good on the screen, as well as have separate print and mobile style sheets.
This was the final project for IM 365. It was set up to look like a design agency, using some CSS3 and SWFobject.
